This is one of those recipes that people ask for….. and actually mean it. So for those of you that I’ve been promising to share the recipe… here it is! Sorry it took so long.
Since going Gluten-Free I’ve been trying to make more of my own food. There are a number of Alfredo sauces (in a jar and at restaurants) that have flour in them…. yeah, surprised me too. Why?!
This is an absolutely amazing, super easy Alfredo sauce. Delicious and gluten-free. (I use spaghetti squash for the noodles, or Archer Farms GF noodles from Target.)
OMG Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 pint Heavy Cream
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 2 Tbsp Cream Cheese
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
Directions:
In a medium sauce pan melt butter and garlic. Add cream cheese and allow to come to a bubble (not boiling, but a bubble.) Sprinkle parmesan cheese into sauce and stir until melted. (Real parmesan cheese, not that stuff that you shake out of a plastic jar.) Add salt and pepper to taste.
